The result of tho census which was ' taken of tho population of the nation and state during the summer just past reveals tho fact that Undo Sam's family fam-ily has been growing some. Tho population pop-ulation of tho United Stntcs and all her possessions, reaches the enormous total of 101,100,000. The Incrcaso In the population of tho United States during tho past ten years has been 21 per cent; tho per cent gain in Utah is 25.7, while Salt Lako City has increased in-creased in population 73.3 per cent. The total population of tho stato of Utah, is 373,351. Salt Lako City boasts a population of 92,777. Brlgham City and Box Elder county are not behind In tho big growing. During Dur-ing the past ton years this city has grown 1,024 souls, making her present population 3,883. In the county tho growth has also been a healthy one, showing an increase of 3,885, making a total population of 13,894 souls.
