Show County Commissioners. All members of tho Board of County Commissioners met in regular session, Monday, March 2lst. M. B. Hart appeared and asked tho county to furnish plank for tops of six bridges in Iowa Drainago District, and company will build wings and romindor of bridge. Granted. Bond of P. H. Pcsh constable of Malad Precinct was approved Resignation of Dr. Russoll J. Smith as hoalth officer in district dis-trict No. 3 was accepted and Dr. Fredorick Wash appointed f A potition was received from residents of Garland askiug for tho romovel of T. L. Snook, as constable of tho Sunset Precinct. Referred to County Attorney who rendored a decision that tho Board has no jurisdiction. A resolution was presented, signed by residouts of East Garland, asking county to furnish fur-nish tile to drain county road in said precinct. Denied. A communication was received receiv-ed from Dr. W. L. Rich, reporting report-ing his visit to the promises of Bill Johnston. Filed. A communication was received receiv-ed from Edwin Bennion.relativo to taxes on sheep paid in this county. Roforred to county attorney. The Ogdon Portland Cement Co., made a request that the county locate tho road across tho barrens, as tho company intends in-tends to fenco its property. Hunsaker, stating stat-ing that he had broken an axel on his four-sprig rig while crossing cross-ing a county bridge and asked for damages. Clerk instructed to write, advising him that the county is not responsible. A communication was received receiv-ed from C. C. Toyne, "relative to repairs on bridge accross Grouse Creek. Clerk instructed instruct-ed to write that Botteridge will attend to said matter. Road Comr. Pierce was instructed in-structed to unload the rock crusher at Garland whon it arrives ar-rives and begin grading from Riverside south. Architect Wells submitted plans and specifications for tho heating, plumbing and wiring of now court house. Plans' accepted. N. S. Christofforson appeared and asked permission to place f onse outside of ditch on county road, west of O. S. L. depot, in order to keep up said drain.
