Show Local Items. Miss Vera Edwards, accompanied accom-panied by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. H. Edwards, came home Sunday night from tho Ogdcn General hospital, whore she was recently operated upon for appendicitis. She is recov-ing recov-ing in good shape and hor many friends will be pleased to hear tho good news. Mrs. Leva Longstroth came back home Tuesday after spending spend-ing two weoks iu Provo, Salt Lake, Ogdcn and other cities of the state. She reports the convention of tho W. C. T. U. held in Provo Sept, 14th 15th and lu'th, as boing a grand success and the programs given these three days wore excellent. Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Grover accompanied by Geo. E. Math-cson Math-cson of Livingston, Montana, have come to town to spend the Avintor. Mr. Grover has accepted ac-cepted the position of weigh-mastcr weigh-mastcr for the Utah-Idaho Sugar Co. and Mr. Matheson has accepted a position in the factory. Co. Tree Inspector Carl Isaacson Isa-acson of Brigham was here Monday in the interest of the big display to be made by Box Elder County at the Utah Fair. He was successful in getting quite a few of our people interested inter-ested and if you go to the Utah State Fair at Salt Lake (Oct 1st to 8th) don't fail to see Box Elder County's grand display. |
