| Show VISIT BRIGHAM last evening an audience packed the liberty theatre to hear famous community orchestra and bid welcome to the members of the ogden kiwanis club their visit to this city was in the nature ot of a return engagement as the Kiwa ot of this city visited ogden last week and furnished the program at their luncheon the orchestra was composed of forty pieces including many lady mu musicians the program commenced by community singing by the local and visiting Kiwan ians under the direction of frank who were seated in the front rows dr geo M flater fister president of the local club announced the reason of the visit of the orchestra and other visitors stating that the program given by the local club at ogden was so good they had bad to bring a 40 piece orchestra here to offset off set it he then introduced jack or J P corey of ogden who delivered a stunning address and next came the introduction of marcellus smith leader of the orchestra an applause followed tor for which mr smith thanked the audience stating that he was glad of the applause now as the audience may not applaud so heartily after hearing the tha orchestra the whole occasion was one of life humor and good fellowship and all present seemed to partake of the same the large orchestra played two fine selections which were followed by a violin duet and encore which was exceptionally tine fine several overtures were then given and two vocal solos by miss adelaide ashton one of ag og lens dens talented vocalists there were also several solo parts in the various selections and the program was presented in a most pleasing manner the community orchestra is a most splendid musical organization and their visit to this cay city and their tine fine music will long be remembered by the peo pie ot of this community J come again |
