Joseph Smith's first prayer was sung by thu Sunday Schools. Apostle David O. McKay commented on Joseph Smith's prayer and referred to thu "Three Wlsu Men" at tho birth of thu Savior. Apostlo Rudger Clawson dwelt at length on faith and miracles. SUNDAY AFTERNOON. Counselor W. O. Horsley apoko on duties of tho teachers. Apostlo David O. McKay followed Elder Horsloy on tho same subject, also dwelt on Peter's faith and mission aud tho gospel of lovo. Apostlo Rudger Clawson then addressed addres-sed the saints on the value of I ho Gospel 1 mid how we wero condemned mid persecuted perse-cuted by tho outside world. Also dwelt on marriage and its attendant blessings. Saturday at -1:30 p. m, tho Primary ofllcers held 11 session and the following songs were practiced and It is desired that tho associations throughout tho stako learn them: "Christinas Eve," "Gather up the Sunbeams," "Tho Little Now Year." Tho ofllcers weru advised to get their roll and minute books and also send financial statement in beforo Jan. 1st. A session of tho M.I. Association was held at tho tabcruaclo Sunday evening. |
