Tho works are of brass, and run eight days. The case Is of solid cherry, while tho faco Is mado of ono solid piece of brass composition, hammered out by hand, then plated, r.nd finally hand engraved en-graved In eluborato stylo. It Is some eight feet till), nnd Is Intended to stnnd on the floor. Besides tolling the moment nnd tho hour, It has n second hand, also a calendar dial that tolls tho day of the month.
