Show County Court. The Board of County Coinmi'islouers mot in regular session July 3rd. Full Board present. P. N. Pierce, road supervisor of Thatcher That-cher District, appeared aud asked that petition presented a year ago asking that the boundary between the Rawlins and Thatcher dMrlcts bo considered favor-ulily favor-ulily by tho Board, also reported that the road through Jaa Plurson's place was only three rods wide and asked that sanio bo made four rods so that it can bo graded; also that tbcro Is a bud bog one-half one-half mllo south of Penroso school house and that It will requlro tl25 to remedy this; also recommended Ihfft the grade on Sec. 2 10-4 be raised one foot. After consideration tho boundary between the Rawlins and Thatcher districts was tlxed as follows: Commencing at a point 80 rods south of tho northwest corner of sec. 15-11-4, thenco easts miles; thence 240 rods to southwest corner of sec 13; thenco cast to present line. The mutter of the thrco rod road was referred to Com Hart for investigation. The rccco mendution of change of grade on sccS-lu 4 and the bog was deferred. Communications from C F Kocchol Co. and JasN Holdaway wcro read. Upon motion of Mr Jones the clerk was Instructed to advertise for bids for tho construction of a bridge over Beaver Dam Creek according to plans and specification, speci-fication, up to 12 M, July 27th. Petition of SL Nowoyctal, asking that tho two bridges Iks built cast of Snowvlllo. Referred to clerk to nscertuln tho location and prohablo cost of said bridges. I Tho clerk's and recorder's reports of fees collected during Juno and auditor's report of incidental expense during Juito were read and accepted. Tho Tree Inspector's report of work dono during May and Juno was presented and read. Upon motion of Com Hurt the appoint uiout of Daisy Madscu ns assistant In tho clerk's office ut a salary of 1.00 per day to assist in extending tho tax rolls for 1007, was couflrmcd Upon motiou of Mr Jones tho saluiy of Miss Louise Ingram was raised u $40 per month. Chairman Valentino reported ho had accepted tho hridgo at Beaver Dam. Bids for printing and furnishing the county wltlt blank books, etc, were openj ed. All reports, bids, ordinances and delinquent de-linquent tax lists, legal blauks to Box Elder Report; election supplies to Skel-ton Skel-ton Publishing Co.; tax notices to Dcser-ot Dcser-ot News, Bids for lltlio warrants aud lit bo letter heads rejected also all bids on books as being Indcunatc. Board adjourned for two weeks. |
