Show Riverside. We have to report another defeat for the Rlvcislde ball players. Plymouth put It over them in a hotly contested game last Saturday. The score stood 10 to 11 In favor of Plymouth. Not for one moment during the game was It apparent which team would win. They played run for run all through the game and each team was confident of winning. Riverside batted the first half ot the nth Innings and tied the score. When Plymouth went In for bcr last bat, the first two men up fanned, and it looked a, though the game would be a tie, but the third man batted a little bouncer which let him to 1st and In spite of all our boy could do he made the round trip and decided the game. There was nothing to do but to take It and come home. Iu the absctieo of some of our regular team three East Garlandcra played play-ed with our boys. Our pitcher was among the missing. Twenty five members of thu Riverside Sunday School went to Portage last Sunday Sun-day to a Stake Sunday School Reunion, Tuesday, May 33, the three wards of Riverside, Fielding and Plymouth uuited in giving a surprise party on Bp. .M.J. Richards of this ward. All present en-joyed en-joyed themselves at a delightful lawn party and a program. Picnic and lee rrcain were served and an enjoyable time was had. Miss Laviuna Parke who is attending school at the A. C. in Logan, has been spending a few days vacation with her parents. Friday evening, May Jtj, the electric lights were turned on In the new residence resi-dence of W. H. Parke. James Jardine was in the county seat Tuesday on business. Prcsidcut M. II.
