Tho cattle supply last week was moderate nt 88,000 head, market steady on light beef steers, cows, heifers, slock' crs and, feeders, but t lit re was a break of 5 to 15 cents on medium and heavy weight corn fed beef steers. Hot weather wea-ther has effected the demands for heavy cuts of beef, nnd this has shlfloJ tho demand de-mand more to the lighter cattle, A great deal of com yet remains In the country, nnd pastures aro almost a mouth Ahead of time this spring, two features that hold up the market on country grades. The run today Is 13,000 head, market steady to 10 lower, dlstn hi ted along the lines laid out In the conditions last eck, namely heavy beef grades getting the heaviest loss, others ranging from that to a steady basis. Colorado fed steers aro worth 4 25 to 5 00, cows 8 00 to 4 00, heifers 8 50 to 4 50, stockcrs 8 75 to 4 80, feeders, 4 25 to 4 00, bulls 8 25 to 4 25, some pnnhnndlo fat steers at 4 50. Stock holfers 8 00 nud cnlvcs 8 50 to 7 00. Tho supply of sheep and lambs last week was 80,000 head, moderate for this season, but the mnrkct declined 10 to 20 cents during tho week, mainly nccount of bad conditions elsewhere. Tho run is 18,000 today, market steady to strong, and nctivc. Some Arkansas Vnlloy 75 lb, lambs sold at 7 80 today, against a top of 7 85 last Monday, several lots to-tay to-tay at 7 05, some 00 lb. lambs t 7 45. Wothcrs sell nt 5 00 to 0 00, yearling 0 10 to 0 05, owes 5 25 to 5 05. While tho feeling is not so bullish as it was a weok ago, thcro is no expectation of any considerable con-siderable declines at present, nnd any material reduction In the supply would Immediately be reflected in an Advance In prices, as everything is cleaned up closely from day to day.
