Show "Just For Fun Monday evening the Garland Amusement Amuse-ment hall was crowded to Its utmost capacity ca-pacity by nn appreciative audience who were In attendance nt the pleasing society drama, "Just for Fun," presented under tho auspices of the Young Ladies' Mutual Mut-ual Improvement Assn. The matinoe Monday afternoon also drow n good sized crowd The Garland Dauce Orchestra Or-chestra furnished tho music for both performances and did splendid work. The drama was one of tho best plays ever presented at the hall by homo talont and gave entire satisfaction, brlnglug forth storms of npplauso from tho largo audlcnco present. The "masquerade" sceno In tho last act created considerable merriment. Tho characters were well sustained and tho costumes wero rich and of the royal family typo. Anna Wilcox, Cleo Clayton and Bcssio Edwards, all dressed as little market girls, rendered in pleasing stylo the song entitled, "Experience," "Exper-ience," and responded to an oncoro with "Coming Through tho Ryo." Masters Mcrrille Evans, Ewell Wnnlcss, Guy Burgcn, Walter Rogers, Valdo Anderson, And-erson, Elwood Winters and Earl Evans sang in concert the song entitled "Arra Wannn" ond responded to an encore with "Pompy Is Dead." Mcrrille Evans then rendered In an excellent ex-cellent manner "Who Throw tho Overalls Over-alls In Mrs. Murphey's Chowder?" ' |
