Show GLAD ITS NOT US after following around in the footsteps of juvenile officer james T daly jr for a few days and listening to some of the pleas that aro are put up by y deop people e and hearing some of the arguments that come up regarding the actions of some of the youths who misbehave and have no respect for the laws we have about arrived at the conclusion that we do not want to be a juvenile officer jim sure sure has troubles of his bis own everyone wants the other fei fellows lows boy punished for doing things but does not want his own abused it if it happens to the other follows fellows sou son it Is all right to have him punished but when it hits home and it comes to our boy different it Is usually the first offense and some other boy dragged him into it and it if the juvenile officer does his duty he is picking on that certain cerialo boy therefore we believe it Is a good thing sometimes ahta we cannot see with sometimes that we cannot see with we have oilen stated in these columns that every parent should kno know his own boy know where he is at all times some will say that Is impossible and in some sense ve e agree with them that Is it if the wandering on the street at all hours of the night Is permissible in that boys home havo have a certain hour tor for him to be homo home and see that ho he Is home at that hour dont place to much restrict restriction lon upon him but have regular hours tor for him and assist him to keep heep them know where he Is at least at night and find something tor for him to do during the leisure hours after school and you will find that you will not have the grief of getting him out of bf trouble with the juvenile authorities it if the strings are not tightened at home they are going to have to be by the authorities and we all know what that means law and order must be observed and it if you permit your son to be a street loafer and night hawk you must expect him to pay the penalty heed the warning in time and save the family worries ies and above all SAVE THE BOY |
