| Show ORDINANCE NO 64 an ali ordinance creating what la is to ho be known as n building committee to define fire limits and proscribe prescribe limits within which no building shall be constructed construct od except ot of brick stone or other incombustible mat material cital without permission within tile the limits ot of panguitch city and to cause the destruction st or removal of any and all buildings constructed or repaired lit in violation ot of nn an ordinance or of Pan gultch city and to Q causo cause all buildings anti and In closures which may be in it a dang crous state to be put in a sate safe condition or removed and to make it unlawful for any violation of this ordinance be it ordained by tho city council that tire fire limits in panguitch city be defined as follows on blocks 2 20 0 and 21 feet from main street and also on blocks 28 and 29 feet from main street ile ho it further ordained by the city council ot of panguitch Pan gultch city that no building shall be constructed within the tire fire limits on blocks 20 and 21 and 28 and 29 unless such buildings be constructed of brick stone or other incombustible material and on blocks 20 and 21 and 28 anti and 29 no buildings shall bo be constructed within the tire fire limits for any public purpose unless such buildings be constructed of incombustible material private dwellings and out buildings of private individuals not included in the above stipulation regarding public buildings on blocks 20 and 21 and 28 and 29 da be it ordained by the city council of 0 panguitch Pan gultch city that there Is hereby created what shall bo be known as a building committee of panguitch Pan gultch city who shall consist of two members of the city council council and whose duties are hereafter prescribed section 1 to see that no building Is constructed within the fre fire limits ot or Pan gultch city as above defined unless such building shall be constructed ted of brick stone or other incombustible material and to cause the destruction or removal of 0 any building constructed or repaired in violation of 0 this or any ordinance ot of panguitch Pan gultch city and to cause all buildings and In closures within the limits of panguitch Pan gultch city which may be in a dangerous state to be put in a sate safe condition or removed and to make all necessary appropriation therefore section 2 to prevent the dangerous construction and condition of chimneys fireplaces hearths heart hs stoves stove pipes heaters ovens furnaces bollers boilers and apparatus used in and about buildings and and cause the same to be removed or placed in a sate safe condition section 3 to prescribe the manner of construction of 0 stone brick briba an dother building ti and the construction ot of tire fire escapes on all public buildings and to cause all buildings used tor for public purposes to bo be provided v with sufficient and ample means of exit and entrance and to be supplied with the necessary and appropriate appliances for the extinguishment of tire fire and anil to io prescribe duties rules and regulations for the government thereof hereof as the committee may deem necessary to regulate and prevent vent the carrying on of manufacturing likely to cause fires and prevent alte deposit of ashes in unsafe places I 1 section 4 to regulate and prevent I 1 the storage of gunpowder tar pitch coal oil benzine turpentine nitroglycerin petroleum or any of the products thereof and other combustible bus tible or explosive materials and the use of lights in stables shops and other places and the building of bonfires section 5 to regulate the construction st ruction of barns and other out buildings no barn or out building shall be constructed within 60 50 feet of any side walk section 6 it shall be unlawful for any person persons or corporation who are constructing reme remodeling aeling or improving any building within any fire limits of panguitch city or deposit any explosive material within said eald city without first obtaining from the building committee permission to so construct remodel or 01 improve any building and tor for the deposit of any explosive material as above set out section 7 any person persons or corporation violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of an of fence and upon conviction thereof shall be 16 flue fined d tit in any sum not to exceed or by lm 1 in th e alfy jail for ilot not to exceed 30 days arboth stich finland tine and imprisonment |
