Standing at the brow of that hill the eye not only beholds a beautiful city but the broad expanse of one of the richest and most populous valleys in all these highlands, stretching miles and miles north and south, while on the west is the clam and lovely fresh water lake with the slow and sluggish Jordan wending its way northward carrying the waters of the lake into the Great Salt Lake, lying in the valley northward, while almost beneath your feet is the boiling and turbulent Timpanogos, joining with other streams to fill the Utah lake which teams with the finny tribe of all of the choicest varieties and on whose bosom glide ducks and other choice winged same. This site with twenty-five or more acres of ground will be presented to the territory free of cost, and the grounds will be "placed in as good condition as are the grounds at Salt Lake by the people here, and all the expense of moving the capital will be borne by Provo.
