Show Fruit Tree Pest. Somo people have noticed what they supposed to be blight, affecting the foliage fo-liage of their fruit trees. G. W. John- son, an experienced fruit tree man, siys '. that the mischief was all the work of an J insignificant little green wwnn, or bug, bo near the color of the foliage as to be J easily overlooked, but which bores I through the leaves of th trees and poi- ! sons or destroys their vitality. If let alone they are liable to inflict serious damage upon the tree. Mr. Johnson , says the onlv remedy he knows of, is to spray the foliage of "the trees with a solution so-lution of London Purple in the proportion propor-tion of one table spoonful to a gallon of water, or a poud to a barrel,' of water.
