Show WILL,. NOT PURCHASE Decision of the 'Wasatch County Court In Relation to Joining Utah in the Purchase of the Provo Canyon Road. The County Court met in special session at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, all the members of the court being present. Judge Jones stated the object of the session was for the purpose of considering consid-ering a resolution of the County Court of Wasatch county, relating to the Provo Canyon Road, and other matters. The following resolutions were then read: Whereas At the September term of the County Court of Wasatch county, ISilO, two of the select men of the Ut-ih County Court, represented that a proposition had been made to purchase the Provo canyon wagon road, and they wished tc know if Wasatch county would ioin with Utah county in the purchase of said road. This court at said term appointed a committee to meet with a lite com mittee from Utah countv to meet with a committee of the Provo Can von Wagon Iload Company at Frovo for the purpose of negotiating for the purchase pur-chase of said road, provided it could be legally and lawfully done. Whereas Said committee met at Provo on the October. ISilO, and representatives of the two counties made an offer to pay the said Provo Canyon Wagon Road Company th-s sum of $4,000, S3.000 to be paid by Utah county and $1,000 to be paid by Wasatch county, which offer said company took under advisement for a period of two weeks, and Whereas Said company did not accept the said proposition within the said two weeks, and JonUor&T 15tU of JaTTSEASd company has made no permanent improvements on said "v-gon road within the County of Wasatch since the expiration ot said charter, and r. ,..,.,.. Ji'MUS Rii.ey. of the firm of Riley j & Bennett, saloon-keepers of this city, j was before Justice Noon yesterday on a complaint sworn to t.y Officer White, for keeping a noisy house. It appears i that a very loud noise was going on in j the saloon the night befme but Mr Riley said he did not know it was against the law to have music and a little fun in the saloon, and did not want to violate any law.
