Show TriE "Ole Olson" company showed here last Saturday evening and a very good audience came out expecting to i see something. Tbey were diaap-pointed. diaap-pointed. They laughed some, but for the life of them they can't tell now what they laughed at. Baker must have seen ' Yon Vonson" he tried to imitate that character and made a disnifll failure. Irene Worrell as 'Bridget" was thejonly passably fair character in the lot. Miss Crawford as "Genie" could swing her legs about ic the air, but that is all she coulc do. As for the n-st of characters they were about as wocdeny a lot of actors as we will see got together in a life time. "Ole Olson" did good businees here, I but he hurt the business of the other companies to follow, because the theatre goers during these hard t?mes are very careful of their dollar?, especi- fl'lv for some time after they have been fooled once. |
