Steve Bunnell called upon i us Monday morning, and stated that the report we published in Saturday's issue in regard to the trouble he had in Duggins saloon on Thursday night was hardly correct iu some of its details. de-tails. In the first place he informs us that the man Belter assailed him without any provocation, and used the most foul and abusive language to him. This he paid no attention to until Belter struck him, then Bunnell, understanding that he was heeled, and would in all pobability pull a gun on him. got Ids linger, in his eye and said, "Now. if you think nmre of your eye, put up jour gun." Belter I apparently gave up intention of doing ! anything then, and Bunnell left the ! saloon. |
