Show FATAL automobile ACCIDENT james fishburn and norman D adderson Au derson of this city figured in an all automobile accident early sunday morning which resulted in the death sunday evening of glen mack alack ot of ogden the three were driving toward salt lake in an oakland sedan mr air fishburn at the wheel with mr air mack in the front seat by him and mr air anderson occupying the rear seat when a short distance north of beeks becks hot springs the party mot met a ford truck driven by byron haslam a young man from salt lake and the two cars came together head on with the result that the sedan was turned over and lay on oil the paved road headed north underneath der neath it lay mr mack whose head was a terribly crushed and who could not noi bo released member of the party mr fishburn Fish bura dufferd a badly bruised bruise dle legand g and was dazed by being thrown about in the car as il il turned over mr air anderson was unhurt except for bruises and scratches young haslam was cut in several places about his face and otherwise bruised but not seriously injured As quickly as possible mr anderson made his way to the hot springs and telephoned the salt lake police who dispatched two officers to the scene passing automobilists re leased eased mr air mack alack and took him and mr air haslam to the st marks hospital where they were given attention mack alack and anderson were taken to the emergency hospital in salt lake city where here their wounds were dressed dressell dress etl and they were then detained at the police station until they got into communication with members of families here at home mr mack was concilus con cious until the last almost despite the terribly mangled condition 0 of his head and repeatedly endeavored to talk to members of 0 his family who hastened to his bedside but could not because of the condition in his throat he died at seven sunday evening the body has leen been removed to ogden and funeral services will be held at the family home on thursday afternoon end and the remains will be taken to smithfield friday morning where they will be interred in the family plot fishburn and anderson are home and very little the worse for the experience through which they passed except tor for a mental depression as a result of 0 the tragic outcome |
