Show Around the Countu _ / The Summit County Bee October 20, 2006 Steppin' Out at The Heber Valley Gun Club Utah Winter Games Sponsors WinterFit Teams competing to lose weight and get healthy are now in Utah. WinterFit, as it is called, is designed to encourage healthy, fit lifestyles, taking advantage of our unique Olympic legacy for winter recreation. Utah is the heart of North American winter sports, and WinterFil is sponsored by the nonprofit Utah Winter Games to give Utahns a unique format for having a good time while getting healthy. This has been tried and proven a good idea by thirty-three lowans. The competitive program will run for five months and will allow teams made up of anywhere from two to ten people to choose their own schedule so activities so that the exercise is as much fun as possible. Teams can be made up of friends or of workplace groups from companies which promote employee health and wellness.
