| Show development of central standard and pinion queen john W taylor says that he Is 18 still driving a drift on the level ol 01 the central standard property work has been under way tor for some time on this level and the drift Is now in a distance of about feet being quite close to one of the important breaks which may possibly contain good values at this depth the central standard Is one of the few east corporations which have been able to keep steadily at work notwithstanding the scarcity ot of money tor for speculative purposes tho the showing Is most promising and it commercial ore Is not found on the level sinking will be resumed in the main shaft mr taylor believes that it will be possible to resume work within a very short time at the copper leaf property which adjoins the central standard and which Is to controlled by about the same people the copper leaf was one ot of the first companies to commence a campaign ot of deep work in an effort to open a continuation of the standard ore the company sunk a deep shaft and while some ore was found it was not ot of commercial grade among the active properties of the east section Is the pinion queen work at this property Is now in the hands of jack mays of eureka and it Is understood that the drift on the level will soon reach a lime format formation loa which officers of the company are anxious to prospect to some extent at this depth up to this time all of the work on the level mentioned has bee been in the porphyry |
