Show commercial club will have quarters in library 0 the new by laws were adopted at the meeting of 0 the commer caal club on wednesday evening and other business of an important nature transacted several short talks were made containing a lot of good suggestions which will be acted upon later P H craven president of the club presided and harold shriver the secretary read a corn com muni cation from the club at delta it Is understood that the club will immediately rent and furnish the large room in the basement of the library building and that the next meeting which will be in the nature of a house warming will be held there it may be a week or two be tore fore new quarters are ready and in the interim the board of directors for the club fifteen in all will out line a campaign of work tor for the organization and decide upon the standing committees most of the club members favor meeting about once or twice each month and making these as interest ing as possible instead of putting a lot of detail work onto the general membership an effort will be made to have this work performed by committees and at the regular meet ings there will be something of in terest instead of dry discussion Eiery everything thing indicates that the new club Is going to be a most important factor in the growth and develop ment of the tintic gintic district it has started out with a splendid member ship which will doubtless be doubled within the next thirty or sixty days |
