On March 15, 2005 a boy was born to Russell and Mindy Faatz of Manti. He weighed 7 pounds 5 ounces and will be named Ryker Russell Faatz. On March 15, 2005 a girl was born to Travis and Cristan Story of Salina. She weighed 6 pounds 5 ounces and will be named Malarie Lyn Story. On March 17, 2005 a girl was born to Justin and April Fawn Parker of Redmond. Brayden loves animals and enjoys spending time outside. He is so precious to his parents and grandparents. Nichole is 15 years old, and a freshman at Manti High School. She is a member of the Show Choir and active in volleyball, basketball, and track. She also enjoys her church calling. Greg and Shelley Dettinger are pleased to announce the marriage of their son, Jacob Dean, to Rebecca Ann Bird on Friday March 25,2005 in the Manti Utah Temple. Jacob graduated from Manti High School in 2001. He served in the Washington D.C. North Mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He is attending Snow College and will transfer to Utah State in the fall. Rebecca is the daughter of Daniel and Naomi Bird from Bluebell. Rebecca graduated from Altamont High School and is attending Snow College. She will join Jacob at Utah State in the fall and they will make their home in Logan. She celebrated her birthday at a family dinner held in her honor on Saturday, March 19 in Provo. Melba was born and raised in Manti before she married Roy Reid on September 27,1937. They lived most of their married life in Ephraim where they farmed and ran a grocery business. Roy passed away in 1992 after 55 years of marriage. Bridger, or “Bubba” to his family, likes to spend time working in the yard with his dad and playing with his dogs. He loves to visit all of his grandparents and play with his cousins.
