INVITATION TO PREQUALIFY PREQUALIFICATION OF EQUIPMENT AND BUILDING SYSTEM SUPPLIERS FOR 3KINGS WATER TREATMENT PLANT Park City Municipal Corporation is prequalifying Suppliers for designated equipment and building systems for the 5,000 gpm 3Kings Water Treatment Plant (3KWTP) that is currently in design with construction scheduled to commence in late 2019. The 3KWTP is located at 1884 Three Kings Drive in Park City, Utah. The Construction Manager, Alder Construction Company, intends to release Requests for Bid Proposals for these designated building and equipment systems in the coming months. Any Supplier interested in providing the 3KWTP equipment or building systems listed below must complete the pre-qualification process which consists of submitting information in accordance with the process described in the 3KWTP Prequalification for Designated Equipment and Building Systems Prequalification Package . The prequalification step is mandatory . Equipment systems currently being pre-qualified are as follows: RFP No. Title 3KWTP-001-PQ Ultraviolet Disinfection System 3KWTP-002-PQ Backwash Waste Clarification Skid System 3KWTP-003-PQ Filter Press System 3KWTP-004-PQ Standby (natural gas) Power Generation System 3KWTP-005-PQ Micro Hydro Power Generation System The Prequalification Package contains a more detailed description of key features of each equipment or building system and includes submittal directions, a project description and anticipated schedule, prequalification procedures and qualification basis. The final selection will consist of a pricing and final qualifications and pricing based selection process administered by the Construction Manager from the list of pre-qualified Suppliers. DESCRIPTION AND SITE OF WORK: For the project known as the 248 BICYCLE AND PEDESTRIAN ACCESS , (hereinafter “Project”), the work generally consists of the construction of 120 LF of a 9x12 box culvert pedestrian tunnel under SR 248 (Kearns Blvd) in Park City, UT along with appurtenant stair wells, ADA ramps, retaining walls, pathway improvements, and re-routing 660 LF of 18” SBWRD sanitary sewer main around the tunnel. Work will also include Rocky Mountain Power primary electrical systems improvements as well as integration of solar panels and an electric snowmelt system. Contract to include replacement of existing asphalt path, roadway, gutter, sidewalk, landscaping, concrete driveway, and other existing site features as required to accommodate the pedestrian tunnel. The project is located within the Park City Soil Ordinance Area. Bidders should familiarize themselves with related requirements that may impact construction activities prior to preparing and submitting a bid. COMPLETION OF WORK: All work shall be substantially complete by June 30, 2019 . Time is of the essence. in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total bid price and a payment bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total bid price. bid submittal process.
