SFHS choir yard sale A big yard sale will be held at the Nebo School District Office at 300 South Main St. on Aug. 8. Come and support the SFHS choirs with their fund raiser yard sale from 7 a.m.-12 p.m. The funds raised go to the choir students to help defray the cost of tour. MAIN, SPANISH FO John DeGraffenried Robert Fleming Ryan McGuire Mark Bake Nebo District announces new administrative appointments John DeGraffenriedPrincipal of SpringvilJe High School Springville High School's principal, Rick Robins, has decided to take a job as Juab High School's principal. Nephi is where Rick and his family reside. Rick said, "I am conflicted because I am leaving a great school and community. Springville's future is very bright. The decision to leave was based on my family. It is a family move and decision. I get the opportunity to be principal of the school my children attend. I wish Springville the very best in the future." The Nebo School Board of Education appointed John DeGraffenried as Principal of Springville High. Mr. DeGraffenried has been Spanish Fork Junior's principal for the past five years. He was the assistant principal of Spanish Fork Junior, and assistant principal at Payson Junior — each for two years. Mr. DeGraffenried taught drafting and multimedia classes at Spanish Fork High as well as technology at Landmark High. He spent eight years teaching technology at Spanish Fork Junior High. Mr. DeGraffenried has won several awards including the Huntsman Excellence in Education, Award where he received $10,000, the International Technology Education Association Program Excellence Award, the Utah Industrial Education Association Technology Program of the Year Utah Trade, and served as Technology Educator Association President. He has also been involved with the Santaquin City Library. Mr. DeGraffenried said, "I am leaving a faculty that I love, and my experience at Spanish Fork Junior has been wonderful!
