Diamond Fork Junior High had an exciting track meet on Friday April 24, 2009 against Payson Junior High and Springville Junior high. The Girls Track team took second place and the boys took third place. Tiffany Gomm took 1st place in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 17.09 seconds and 2nd place in the shot put with a distance of 30'6". Rachel Bingham took 3rd place in the 100 meter with a time of 13.5 seconds and 2nd in the 400 meter with a time of 68.48 seconds. Brynn Heckel took 3rd in the 1600 meter with a time of 6 minutes 40 seconds. Sondra Novak took 1st in the 200 Meter with a time of 29.98 seconds and 3rd in the shot put with a distance of 30'. Jensen Williams took 3rd in the 400 meter and with a time of 70.56 seconds and 2nd in the high jump with a height of 4'8". Jessica Deleo took 4th in the 200 meter with a time of 30.53 seconds. Sarah Harris took 3rd in the 200 meter with a time of 30.4 seconds. Emily Woodbrey took 3rd in the long jump with a distance of 14* 1/2". The girls 4x100 teams took 1st and 2nd place. The first team consisted of Seirra Graham, Rachel Bing- ham, Brenda Quintana, and Sidni Braithwaite. The second team consisted of Emily Woodbrey, Tiffany Gomm, Sondra Novak, and Melinda Olsen. The girl's Medley Relay which consisted of Alyce Mitton, Sondra Novak, Jensen Williams, and Jessica Deleo took 1st place. The girls 4X400 which consisted of Rachel Bingham, Bria Heckel, Brynn Heckel, and Jensen Williams took 2nd place. Mauro Quintana took 4th place in the 100 meter with a time of 11.52. Daniel Machuca took 4th place in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 16.06. Wesley Buckwalter took 4th place in the 800meter with a time of 2 minutes 46 seconds. The boys 4x100 which consisted of Ivan Brooks, Nik Mafi, Trevor Topham, and Shay Lefevre team took 3rd place. The boys 4x400 team which consisted of Will Bass, Ivan Brooks, Kevin Muirebrook, and Mauro Quintana. Boone Lambourne took 2nd place in the discus with a distance of 95 \ Garrett Christensen took 3rd place in the discus with a distance of 94'4".
