Show Jjfestyles A4 • WEDNESDAY, JUNE 1 1 , 2008 Weddings Missionaries Gage Loftin Bridger Grant Butters Elder Gage Loftin has recently returned from serving in the New Yark, New York South Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He will be speaking in the Aspen Meadows 3rd Ward Sacrament Meeting 1661 South 1400 East on Sunday, June 15 at 9 a.m. Gage is the son of Lynn and Leslie Loftin and the grandson of Cecil and Pat Loftin and Ronald and Joyce Bills. Bridger Grant Butters is returning home after faithfully serving in the mission he loved and affectionately referred to as "T-SANf \ "The Greatest Mission On Birth" (Texas San Antonio Mission). He will be speaking on Sunday June 15 at 9 ajn. in his home ward, the Spanish Fork 3rd Ward, located at 360 North 630 West, Spanish Fork. Friends and family are invited to attend. Bridger is the son of Bailey and Christie Butters. 1st Birthdays very much. I can't wait to be one! Payne, Kelson Griffen Mecham Cade Whitaker My name is Cade Allen Whitaker. I was born on June 13,2007,andI will beone year old this week! My favorite thing to do is play outside. I love to ride in the wagon and go for walks with my family. Casey and Kindra Whitaker are my parents, and Carson is my older brother. Barry and Beth Whitaker and Korey and Melinda McGee are my grandparents, I love to play at their houses. I have greatgrandparents as well. Darwin and Arloa Whitaker, Allen and Clara Jane Woodhouse, and Jesse and DeAnna McGee. I am a very lucky boy with aunts and uncles that love me Covering what matters most This handsome little guy is Griffen Jack Mecham. Griffen turned one on June 4. He is full of grins and giggles and loves to make everyone smile. Griffen also enjoys playing with trucks, trains, and chasing his big sister Zoee around. He celebrated his first birthday with his parents Stan and Shandy Mecham, his big sister Zoee, his grandparents Gene and Deb Mecham, Kim and Patt Hansen, greatgrandpa Bob Marshall and great-gradma Beth Thomas, cousins. Happy birthday, and lots of aunts, uncles, and little guy, we love you! Ron and Karen Payne are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter Ja'Naye to Peter M. Kelson. He is the son of Ron and Janet Kelson and Marylou Stewart. They were married on May 25, 2008 in Salt Lake City. Ja'Naye is a graduate of Spanish Fork High School. She attended Salt Lake Community College and graduated from the University of Utah in Mass Communication. She currently is employed by KUER-90.1, Na- tional Public Radio in Development Services. Peter is a graduate of Olympus High School and graduated from the Universityof Utah in Economics. He is employed by Zion's Direct as a Vice-President of Trading Operations. Ja'Naye's parents will be hosting an open house in the bride and groom's honor at the Payne Resident on June 14 at 6-8 p.m. 298 North 900 East in Spanish Fork. Friends of Ja'Naye and the family are invited to attend. Molly Kate Higgenson Chaunsey Lloyd 'Hi There! My name is Chaunsey Lloyd and I turned one on May 20,2008. I have the biggest blue eyes that seem to let me get away with anything. I am a great dancer and love to flirt. My parents, Chans Lloyd and Chelsea Porter seem to be a little worn out these days since I've started walking awhile back. My proud grandparents are Kelly and April Porter, Laurie Lloyd and the late Brad Lloyd. Our little 'caboose'.Molly Kate Higginson turned one on May 1, 2008. She is the daughter of Jeff and Abbie Higginson of Salem. Molly has three older brothers and sisters, Jens, Sidney andCaden. Hergrandparents are Duane and Julie Higginson and Darrall Jensen all of Salem, and Gloria Jensen of Lehi. Her great grandparents are Art Hartvigsen, La Verne Higginson and Clella Gustin all of Spanish Fork. Molly loves peek a boo. brushing her hair, strollerridesand getting spoiled. Happy birthday Molly! Hall, Anderson Freedom Memorial '• The Utah Freedom Memorial presents "Ticket to Ride", a motorcycle rally to benefit the monument project The Cost of Freedom — A Tribute to Utah's Military" "Celebrating Freedom and Honoring Those Who Defend If. This monument is an educational memorial dedicated to the men and women of the military who have served or are serving now from the state of Utah. The rally will be held Flag Day, June 14, at 10 a.m. Register for the ride on-line at http://www.UtahFreedommemorial.org, www.UtahFreedommemorial.org or the morning of at the Fort Douglas flag pole located at 100 Soldiers Circle in Salt Lake City. The first 200 people to register on-line will receive a free rally patch. Day of event registration will be held across from the flag pole and runs from 9—11 a.m. Registration is $25. Kara Hall and Brandon Anderson have chosen Saturday, June 14, 2008 as their wedding day. They will be married in a ceremony at the home of the bride. A reception will celebrate their marriage that evening from 7-9 p.m. Kara is the daughter of Allen and Mary Kathryn Hall of Spanish Fork. Brandon is the son of Keith and Cindy Anderson also of Spanish Fork. Kara and Brandon will make their first home in Spanish Fork.
