Many of the students said they enjoyed Recession a lot because it was more of a get-together and party with friends, instead of a normal dance. Everyone talked, danced and had a good time together. Recession was meant to be a guy choice dance, but any girl who didn't get asked could go stag if she wanted* Everyone had a lot of fun, showing off their moves and dancing the night away with their friends and dates. It was a great way to meet new people and get to know each other better. Getting to know SFHS students Shala Richards SFHS in general. One Key Club member said, "I know they don't get a lot of thanks from the kids that ride the bus." Club members gathered around 7:00 a.m. and stood outside waiting for the buses to arrive. It was a cold day with the temperature around 15°, but spirits were high as dub members raised from bus to bus to deliver the hot chocolate and donuts.
