Show Page February 209 201 OBITUARIES HELP WANTED Howard Arthur Whittaker NOTICE OF TRUSTEE'S SALE Circleville, Utah Howard Arthur Whittaker, 86, of Circleville, Utah, passed away February 19, 2010, in Richfield. He was born September 19, 1923, in Circleville, to Christopher Arthur and Ada Catherine Wiley Whittaker. Howard met NormaDean McCoard at Big Rock Candy Mountain Café where she was a waitress. They were later married February 1, 1952, in Las Vegas, NV. She preceded him in death in November 24, 1995. Howard grew up in Circleville and graduated from Piute High School and later attended the Branch Agriculture College in Cedar City, now SUU, where he studied agriculture. He joined the United States Navy and served his country during World War II. After serving in the navy for four years, he returned to Circleville where he worked on the family farm and raised cattle. Howard also worked in the dairy barn with his father, Arthur. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and being in the great outdoors with his family and friends. Howard was a good brother, uncle, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather; and in his own way has always tried to help anyone in need. He is survived by his children, Steven H. (Cheryl) Whittaker, Koosharem; Shouna (Kerry) Savage, Richfield; Marilyn (Jim) Anderson, Aurora; Nina (Clint) Hastings, Aloha, OR; and Norman A. (Raquel) Whittaker, Spring Creek, NV; 21 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; sisters, Nadean Houston, Richfield; Jeannine Chamberlain, Richfield; and a brother Heber Dee (Arvonne) Whittaker, Washington; and former daughter-in-law, Cathy Whittaker. He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; sisters, Arthea (Bill) Horton and Athene (James P.) Cowell; brothers, Stanford Whittaker; twins, Boyd and Bryce Whittaker; Kelton Dean Whittaker; great-grandson, Casey Savage Jr.; brothers-in-law, Ray Houston, Ken Chamberlain, Kenneth L. Dalton, Alexander Anthony VonVillas. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2010, at 1:00 p.m. in the Circleville 1st Ward LDS Chapel. Friends may call at the Magleby Mortuary, in Richfield, on Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and at the ward chapel, in Circleville, on Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Circleville Cemetery with military rites by the V.F.W. Hoyt who is retiring effective June 2010. UPAXLP NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND BONDS TO BE ISSUED NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on February 17, 2010, the Board of Trustees of the Local Building Authority of Hatch Town, Garfield County, Utah (the "Issuer"), adopted a resolution (the "Resolution") declaring its intention to issue its Lease Revenue Bonds (the "Bonds") pursuant to the provisions of the Utah Local Government Bonding Act, Title 11, Chapter 14, Utah Code Annotated 1953, as amended and the Utah Local Building Authority Act, Title 17D, Chapter 2, Utah Code Annotated 1953, as amended (collectively, the "Act") and to call a public hearing to receive input from the public with respect to the issuance of the Bonds and the potential economic impact on the private sector that the facility funded by the Bonds may have.
