INVITATION TO BID Separate sealed bids for the construction of Panguitch Springs Improvement Project will be received by Panguitch City from bidders. Panguitch City-s springs are located approximately 7 miles west of Panguitch on Forest Service property and are located in 6 main areas. This project will consist of retrofitting existing collection boxes, installation of new collection boxes, and new collection piping and redevelopment of some existing spring sources. This project is funded by Division of Drinking Water & The Rural Development Fund Board. Time will be set aside to discuss issues not on the agenda. October 6 & 7 will be the Escalante Canyons Everettt Ruess Working Arts Festival. Kaden Dutton was in a terrible motorcycle accident about two weeks ago. He was hurt very bad and had to be put under a medical induced coma so his body could have time to heal. Fiday it was announced that he was brought out of his coma. He was staying calm, was able to give his mom a kiss and is doing quite well. Canyon Country would like to help his family out so they have a donation jar set up for him. The Old City Park committee is conducting a survey to find out what folks would like to see happen at the park. Surveys were distributed around town on Friday, Sept. 15. They will be available until Sept. 9. The surveys only take a few minutes to fill out and the committee would like to get as many responses as possible. Please take time when you stop at one of these locations, Cottams 66, Canyon Country, Escalante Implement, Wells Fargo Bank Griffins Grocery, Golden Loop Cafe, Escalante Outfitters and South Central Office and at the Frosty Shop. We only have a few more baseball games to watch here at home. The game last friday was postponed due to all of our rain. Please try to get out and yell for our team. Sept. 22, first game begins at 3:00 PM, we play Bryce Valley. Sept. 26, we will play Valley and this one will also begin at 3:00 PM. The Moqui Volleyball team has a few more games left at home. Sept. 22, our girls will be playing Bryce Valley, •the time will be at 5:45. Sept. 26 ourgirls will be playing Valley here at home starting at 5:45. Both the Moqui Baseball players and Volleyball players neeS your support. Senior menu for Sept. 21 will be Chicken, potato salad, veggies, fruit & dessert.
