Show look througli. "Every college in the state of Utah is on UV Link," Walker added. '"Everyone in the state deals with the same problems we do. So, it's universal." Other hearing proposals included one regarding building fees as well as the student fees used for the student UTA bus pass. Doug Warner gave the presentation regarding building fees. He commented that he had not expected to present at this year's hearings, but a decline in student enrollment had lowered the fees available for student buildings. Warner presented a tentative chart that requested a rough increase in student fees to pay for the Student Center, but added that fully accurate figures would not be available until after what he called "the purge" — students who have Ray Walker Centerfor Student Computing not paid tuition, and will ultimately be dropped from the register. Similarly, the numbers relevant to UTA's proposal were not finalized by the time of the hearing. UTA was suggesting a continuation of the Education Pass that they and UVSC have joined together to create. These passes are free to students and allow free access to all UTA routes in the state. They have been part of a plan to help the parking situation on campus. Although exact numbers of the budget had not been negotiated by the time of the hearing, the presenter ap- proximated that student fees would cover "about half" of the cost, and the administration would pick up the rest. The final student fee hearing will be held on Feb. 2 at 1:15 in SC 105. Students have a right to attend and participate in these meetings as outlined in the UVSC Constitution. There will be more on all of these developments of Thursday's hearing when all of the numbers are finalized.
