Galea - Price Former residents of Green River, Wyo., William and Patricia Poncik, now of Milton, Fla., are pleased to announce the marriage of their granddaughter Kerri Alicia Galea daughter of Robert W. Lawrence of Pensacola, Fla., and the late Marion M. Galea of Bournmouth, England, to Christian Bott Price, son of Elizabeth Bott Price of River Heights, Utah, and the late William Russel Price. Kerri is a former graduate of Green River High School in Green River, Wyo., where she participated in dance and cheer. She also graduated from the South Western Beauty Academy where she received her cosmetology certification. In the summer of 2006 Kerri served as an EFY counselor for the LDS Church. She is now attending Utah State University studying health administrations. Kerri plans to pursue a career in aerobic fitness. Christian is a former graduate of Mountain Crest High School of Hyrum, Utah. He served in the US Army where he reached the rank of Sergeant, E-5 in the 854 quarter master company. He also served a fulltime LDS mission in Macieo, Brazil. Christian will graduate in May with his bachelor's in pre-physical therapy from Utah State University. He plans to attend graduate school in the following year The couple were married in the Logan LDS Temple on Feb. 24. There were receptions neld in their honor in Logan, Green River, Wyo., and in Florida. Showers were held in Kerri's honor by Nanette Cutler and Shiree Luczack of Green River and Beth Price of River Heights. Cannon-Hislop Melissa Marie Cannon and Samuel Baugh Hislop were married February 17, 2007, in the Logan LDS Temple. A reception was held in their honor. Melissa is the daughter of Scott and Virginia Cannon. She is a 2005 graduate of Logan High School. Sammy is the son of Craig and Nancy Hislop of Logan. He is a 2002 graduate of Logan High School.
