Show soldier boys will not forget welcome given them those soldier boys who were treat ed so splendidly during their short stops at tintic gintic while en route from camp kearney to one of the atlan tic ports will not soon forget the people of this section who spent their money so cheerfully tor for the things they felt sure the boys would be acx lous to receive these young men I 1 will doubtless receive a warm wel come all along the line but it is i doubtful if it any community will treat them more royally than they were treated here in tintic gintic no section of our state has sent more men into the service tion considered than the mining camps of tintic gintic and while our peo pie would gladly have welcomed an opportunity of seeing a troop train loaded with utah boys they seemed to get just as much pleasure in ex tending the warmest reception pos sible to the soldiers from other states As one man who was on hand as the loaded trains pulled in to tintic gintic said they are all our boys at any rate thea the are going to fight our battles and we love and respect them for the sacrifices they are making for our welfare we are doing no more tor for them than people in other parts of the country are doing for the boys who call this section ot of utah their home |
