Nicole Patterson was choosen for her helpfulness and ereat attitude in class. Bart Todd has a great smile and attitude in the class- room. Dillon Guymon is the most improved student in the classroom, andCraig Anderson has been noticed for his kindness to others. SAT testing has been going on most of this week at Wasatch Middle School. September 21st through 23rd students are encouraged to sleep well, eat a ul | & healthy breakfast, and be on time for school. Students will be bringing their grades home sometime before the parent/teacher conferences scheduled for 6:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday, the 30th. This is something worth marking on your calendars as attendance at school for parents has been known to influence kids in a positive wayl There -are two field trips planned for Wednesday, September 29th. The drama students will be attending a play performed by the Pioneer Memorial Theater Company at the U_ of-U entitled A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum that afternoon. Half of the sixth grade classes will attend Hansen Planetarium that day, too. Council His responsibilities include organizing meetings, delegating responsibilities, and seeing that things get done. Jared has been. married to Krisann Moulton for a year and a half and has lived in Heber most of his life. In his Sophomore year at UVSC, he will be completing an Associates Degree in December. He plans on transferring to BYU in January to pursue a Bachelors Degree in Political Science. He is cur- rently employed as a manager at Days Market. Jared made the following remarks, “I believe one of our greatest assets and challenges at the Wasatch Campus is the diversity in.the student body. The staff and faculty have obvi- ously set a wonderful foundation for our campus. Living in Orem has given her the opportunity to work with the Student Council on the main campus. She loves the Wasatch Campus and believes it is the perfect location for continuing education. Stacie R. Perez is a resident of Park City. She is the Vice President of Academic Affairs for the UVSC Wasatch student council. She enjoys martial arts, snowboarding, BMX racing, and traveling on her free time. Her long-term goal is'to go to Dental school in California. - Her creativity is a great asset as she does the majority of the advertising for student activities: Stacie would like to see the Wasatch Campus create a more unified student body. Jeanette Wasatch Hardman is the UVSC Campus Secretary/Treasurer. She is currently employed as a Loan Processor at Republic Mortgage. Her future plans include finishing up January! Her goal for the Student as VP of Public Relations is to community involvement and with the students of UVSC Campus. Shawntelle Holmes is a 1997 graduate of Wasatch High School. She has just started her third year at UVSC. She is majoring in Secondary Music Education and Performance with a choral emphasis. Shawntelle is Vice President of LDS Seminary. Currently, she is attending UVSC, majoring in Business Management. In Spring of 2000 she will graduate with her Associates Degree. After graduation she will continue on to earn a Bachelors Degree in her major. Jeanette participates in all student -council activities, coordinates committees, and. keeps minutes at all weekly meetings.
