GIRLS' ROBES State Cuts Christmas Card Fund State elected officials will not be allowed $100 apiece to pay for sending Christmas cards, the State Board of Examiners decided Tuesday. State Finance Director Herbert F. Smart had inquired whether such an allowance approved in past years should be continued. Atty. Gen. Vernon A. Romney disapproved such an exSecy, of State penditure. Clyde L. Miller and Gov. Calvin L. Rampton concurred. Rampton said a contingency fund of $5,000 is provided to him by the Legislature, and he has used this in past years to pay for Christmas cards for his office. Romney and Miller agreed that this was a proper expenditure in the care of the governor.
