This Stars include Pat OBrien, Walter Brennan, Chill Wills come a hit. Like The Survivors, It has good acting the itories are engrossing and casts are good. In fact, I think most acting in Forsythe Saga is superior to that in The Survivors. The Survivors could move slowly after the old man . (Ralph Bellamy) passes away because the network hopes to get some mileage out of the series. The Forsyte Saga will cover its ground more rapidly because it was produced for 26 episodes covering Victorian and Edwardian eras in Britain. To illustrate its speed, the first episode intioduced the family, featured an engagement and a marriage and focused oh one of the sons, played by Kenneth More, who has taken as a mistress the nanny for his young daughter. More and his wife have not been seeing eye to eye for several years. Also, in the first episode, Mores father hears of the scandalous behavior of his son. The son, in the final scene, has rushed to the home he keeps for his mistress to let her know their secret is in the open. She tells him they , are going to have a baby. All that happened on the first show. It would take a year to get to that point on the standard soap opera. Anyway, there are two soapies or weepies as they are are sometimes called, and I believe they have the ingredients to draw large followi. s. 2 ver-The-Hi- is a spoof on every cliche in horse operas. may 6:45 Friendly - sents "The 0 "Directory assistance help you?"
