The report was released today by Warden John W. Turner. LeRoy Manning, 53, Salt Lake City, became ill and stopped breathing on the evening of July 14 during a period when he was being treated at the prison hospital for boils on the hand. He was pronounced dead on arrival at University Hospital despite resuscitation efforts. The autopsy report attributed death to severe pulmonary congestion and edema e associated with mephen and propylhexadrine. The last four words are the name of a relatively new inhalant drug.
