Sherrie Taylor gave her lesson and mini classes were held, a luncheon was served to all who were there and a nursery was provided. Quc and Mathel Mickclsen and Ronnie and Ellen Bosshardt have recently returned from Virginia where they visited with Mr. and Mrs. Larry Strcdbcck and family. Dan Wilson is here visiting with his parents Mr. and Mrs. Russell-Wilson- . Home for the weekend from college has been Traci Bosshardt Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Johnson were in Fillmore Sunday to attend the Missionary Farewell of Tammyscousin, Kelli Dcardcn. She will be serving in Paraguay. Trisha Johnson spent her U.E.A. weekend visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Rick Gomez, Moab. Valarie Hansen and children have been here visiting with Mr. and Mrs. UDcll Johnson, the John Johnson family and the Gordon Johnson family. While here they visited the Fremont Indian State Park. Matt and Kayleen Lyman and children spent the weekend visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Lee Jensen. The Membership Records of Sue Johnson, and the Allen Laws family were read in Sacrament Meeting Sunday. Tammy Hales was released as the Primary Secretary Sunday. Sustained as Primary Secretary was - 529-755- 2 Kristine Peterson. Kevin and Nancy Hampton were released as Sunday School teachers. Randy and Bonnie were S ustained as TEachers in the Sunday School. Marci Anderson and Debbie Lund were sustained as Nursery Leaders. Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Ashman were in St. George over the weekend to attend the Ashman family reunion. They also visited with Conrad and Anona Peterson and Dawn and Bryan Hafen in Mesquite, Nevada. Jolane Nelson had visitors this weekend. The Sr. Citizens held a social Saturday night. A chicken dinner with all the trimmings was served the program consisted of a reading by Norma Roberts, song by Sabin Johnson, Staci Valdez played the piano and Tola Peterson gave a reading. The committee for this social was Norma and McKay Roberts, U Dell and Jean Johnson, Owen and Kate Christensen and Person and Tola Peterson. Katie Christensen has been in Price visiting with family members. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Bosshart are pleased to announce the birth of a new son. The little Mr. was bom in the Gunnison Valley Hospital on Saturday, October 15. He is welcomed home by 4 other brothers, Kasey, Kirt, Mark, and Charles. Fayette News Ruby Hammond Last Saturday Lorraine Thomas daughter Heidi DeVries of Pasco, Washington flew in to Salt Lake and Lorraine and Heidi spent the day shopping. On Sunday they attended a reception for Tasha Tudor illustrator of Books at the Provo Tabernacle. Later in the day they visited the McCurdy Doll Museum where Tasha was autography books, had a special birthday dinner for Thuc Nguyen BYU student who had adopted the Thomas as Grandparents. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Christensen of Salt Lake visited Sunday and Monday last week with Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Johnson. On Monday afternoon the Johnsons returned home with them and visited in Salt Lake until Thursday when their Theron Huff of Landor Wyoming brought them back to Fayette and stayed over night with them. Recently Pearls grandson Phillip Huff of Landor, Wyoming was set apart as the bishop of his ward in Landor. Saturday Mr. and Mrs. Criag Larson and family of Ephraim, Mr. and Mrs. Randy Mcllor and family of Orangeville, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Mcllor and family, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Mcllor and family, Mr. and Mrs. Neil Mcllor and family , and Mrs. Fern Mcllor all of Fayette gathered at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Mcllor for a family get together. Mr. and Mrs. Kraig Blumdcll and family of Lyman, Wyoming spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Dean Bartholomew. During the weekend Mr. and Mrs. Rick Dove and family of Ephraim and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Braithwaite and family of Salma also visited - 528-793- 2 with the family at the Bartholomew home. Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Mcllor were in Salt Lake a few days last week getting a cataract removed from Wendells one eye. They are at home and Wendell is doing good. Mrs. Fern mcllor visited three days last week in SAlt Lake with her children and their families. Visiting Saturday with Fern was Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Hone. Sunday Jennifer Mellor and Margie Mellor were sustained as counselors to President Kathleen Cox in the Young Womens Organization. Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Mellor spent the weekend in Fayette. Mr. son-in-la- w and Mrs. John Bartholomew enjoyed a short vacation last week they visited Wednesday and Thursday in Logan with Mr. and Mrs. John Davis and baby and while there they drove over to Whitney, Idaho over to the graveside of Johns mother. Friday though Sunday they visited with Mr. and Mrs. Larry Lytle and family in Alamo, Nevada and watched their grandchildren play ball. On there way home Sunday they visited in Cedar city with their daughter Sheri and son Mr. and Mrs. Steven BArtholomew and girls. Adam and Brandon Moore of Orem spent last week with their grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Mellor and Sunday Bessie took the boys home and visited with their parents John and Karen and then returned home. Spending the weekend with Milton and Ruby Hammond were there grandchildren Cory, Teri, and Kelly Sue Tree of West Jordan. Autumn treat Heres an easy, delectable dessert from Carol Averys kitchen. Why not give it a try? Whipped Pineapple Dessert 1 package small marshmallows 2 Tbs. water 1 can chilled evaporated milk 1 can crushed pineapple (13 oz.) 1 Tbs. lemon juice 1 cube margarine 12 graham crackcrs; crushed Melt the marshmallows with water and 2 T. of the margarine over low heat. Whip the cold evaporated Aurora News Mayfield News milk until thick and frothy. Add the melted marshmallow mixture, crushed pineapple and lemon juice. Pour into 9x13 pan. Set aside. Melt the rest of the margarine and add graham cracker crumbs. Put the crumbs evenly over the top of the mixture and chill well. Serves up to 15 - unless they are hungry teenagers. The mixture can also be placed in a graham cracker crumb crust pie for delicious results. David and Natalc Christiansen of Mayfield have a baby boy bom October 5 at the Gunnison Valley Hospital. His name will be Tyler Christiansen. He weighed 7 lbs and 5 ozs. Paul and Marica Christiansen of Mayfield and Clair and Orla Often of Sterling are Tylers grandparents. Alcda M. Christiansen of Mayfield is the Great Grandmother. Sheldon and Edna Bjcrre-gaar- d of Mayfield flew from Salt Lake on October 5 for a week vacation in Indiana. There son. Dr. Richard Bjerregaard and wife S haron and family live in Indianapolis. THcy spent the week visiting and driving to points of interest. They enjoyed the beauty of Browns Couny and the S late Park there. They saw two great grandchildren they have not seen before and became acquainted with David Bjcrregaards wife Robin. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Tuft and Mr. and Mrs. Jesston Anderson attended the naming and blessing of their new niece and great granddaughter, Krista Freeby, infant daugh ter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenny Freeby of Oregon in Siguard on S unday , October 16th. Also visiting over the weekend with the Tufts and the Ander-son- s and here to attend the blessing were Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Dale and children of Provo. Visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Lloyd for the weekend were Kathleens parents Mr. and Mrs. C.E. Wheeler and also her sister Kristee all from Farmington, New Mexico. Congratulations goes out to Wendy Shaw, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Therron Shaw and John Herrin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Herrin, Sandy on the marriage on Saturday, October 15 int he Manti LDS Temple. An Open House was held that eve- and family of Vernal spent the U.E.A. weekend in Mayfield with mother Alcda M. Christiansen. The Stanford Peterson to Lemans Cave for traveled family the U.E.A. vacation. They traveled with Dean Larson and family of Delta. The group went to Ely, Nevada and then back to the Utah Desert. In the Desert they went hunting trilebits. Lester and Alice Hansen traveled to McGill Nevada for the wedding of their granddaughter Jewel. There daughter, Joye Hansen of Gunnison accompanied Lester and Alice. A lovely Garden WEdding was held at the home of Alan and Dee Ann Allred. Jewel married Mark Johznes of Elko, Nevada. A wedding dinner was held at the chapel after the wedding. The Hansens were in Nevada for three days. ning at the Aurora Ward Cultural Hall honoring the newly weds, many Family members and friends were in attendance to both the marriage and reception. The couple will make their home in Sandy. Mr. and Mrs. Bart Reynolds and children of Panguitch were here over the weekend visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Jerold Johnson and other family members. A missionary farewell for Elder Rycham Freeman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kent Freeman will be held Sunday October 23 at 1:00 p.m. int he Aurora 1st ward. Elder Freeman has been called to serve int he Ohio, Cleveland Mission Field and will enter the MTC on November 2nd. Axtell News Rilla Dee Sorenson Mike and Angie Neal and daughters Ashcly and Alexie visited on the weekend with Bemon and Janice Neal and Melissa and Justin in honor of Bemons birthday and Justins ordination to the Priesthood. Julie and Elwood Sorenson were happy to have their friends Clifford and Alice Powell from Thompson Falls, Montana visit with them over the weekend. Nancy Sue Boore was home for the weekend visiting her mother Audrey Boore and brother Danny and Nancy Lee Boore and Stephanie as well as sister Sandra and Joey Heath and family. Nancy is employed at Intermountain Health Care in Salt Lake. Evelyn and Mitch Morrow are pleased to have their daughter Jeanne Chrsitenson and her family move here from Washington. They are living in Gunnison. Joan Gillies was glad to have her parents Ross and Ethel McCausland of Durango Colorado come Sunday to spend the week with her while her husband Doug is finishing a months training at the Police Academy in Salt Lake. Margie and Howard Jensen enjoyed having their daughter Sharon and her husband Andy Hekking and son Joshua visit with them over the weekend. They dug potatoes and got a load of wood from the canyon. Terance Tex Hyrum Jorgensen, 60, died October 13, 1988, at Sevier Valley Hospital, Richfield. He was bom in Redmond, Utah October 25, 1927 to Hyrum Salable at auction 1181, compared to 1166 last week and 2164 last year. Fair attendance; good demand. Mr. and Mrs. Kendall Hale are the very proud parents of their fourth girl bom to them on October 10 in the SEvier Valley Hospital in Richfield. The new little miss tipped the scales at 9 lbs and 1 oz and will be named Alyson Hales. The new little infant has 3 older sisters, Amy, Elizabeth and Natalie to help tend her. Services were held October 17, 1988 in the Redmond Ward Chapel. Burial was in the Redmond Cemetery, with military honors provided by Redmond American Legion Post. The burial was under the direction of the Warren R.
