July DECISION NOTICE AND FINDING OF NO SIGNIFICANT IMPACT FOR PREDATOR CONTROL WITHIN SELECTED ALLOTMENTS ON THE FISHLAKE An environmental Assessment dealing with a proposed integrated predator control program using and trapping and shooting of depredating coyotes is available for review in the Forest Supervisors Office in Richfield, Utah. The Environmental Assessment evaluates three alternatives in detail with several others being eliminated from detailed study. The detailed alternatives considered are: (1 ) No action, which would preclude the use of predator control on the Forest; (2) Trapping, denning, shooting and the use of guard dogs; and (3) Use of control methods identified in Alternative 2 together with the use of 4 devices. It is my decision to authorize Animal Damage Control personnel of the Animal Plant Health Inspection Service to carry out predator control activities on 17 sheep allotments on the Fishlake National Forest.
