C&H ALLOTMENT MANAGEMENT PLAN SEVIER COUNTY, UTAH AN ACTION THAT HAS BEEN 1 PUBLIC NOTICES CATEGORICALLY Public Notice Advertising Protects Youi Right to Know PUBLIC NOTICE COASTAL STATES ENERGY COMPANY WASTE ROCK DISPOSAL SITE ACT041002 175 East 400 North, Suite 800 Salt Lake City, Utah 841 1 1 Southern Utah Fuel Company (SUFCO), a subsidiary of Coastal States Energy Company has filed with the Utah Division of Oil, Gas and Mining (DOGM) for reclamation permit approval for a waste rock disposal site six miles west of the SUFCo mine. The legal description of the permit area is as follows: Township 22 South, Range 4 East, S.L.B.M. Section 1 8 NW 1 4 of NE 14. The Water Hollow Ridge, Utah U.S. Geological Survey 7.5 minute quadrangle map contains the area described. Mine development waste rock will be buried in compacted lifts within 1 00 feet of the county road that runs Exit 72 to the SUFCo mine , from on a portion of the road that passes through the above described 40 acres. The existing roadway will not be relocated. This permit applications has been deemed complete by DOGM and is available for public review at the Division of Oil, Gas and Mining, 355 West North Temple, 3 Triad Center, Suite 350, Sait Lake City, Utah 84180-120- 3 and at the Sevier County Courthouse, Richfield, Utah. The property to be affected is located at approximately 486 East 1 00 North, Salina, Utah and is located in Block 17, Plat A, Salina City Survey. The variance requested is from the minimum lot widths. Salina City Zoning Ordinances require a minimum lot width in R-- 1 zones of 80 feet. The property in question had a width of 53.62 feet. Installation shall cover the following items: Removal of inside stop (side and bottom), removal of inside window sash and cut sash cords, remove sash divider and outside window sash, cut sash cord, remove pulleys, insert new window, pull against sill and anchor, seal inside frame with Latex caulk and replace inside stop, seal exte- plan implements a season-lon- g grazing system. Under this system, which has been practiced for the past 8 years, vegetative production will continue on a stable or upward trend, losses from Tall Larkspur poisoning will be minimized and capital investments in fencing will not be necessary. This proposed Allotment Management Plan is in conformance with the Fishlake National Forest Land Use Plan and is in conformance with the recommended proper forage utilization. This management plan will not adversely affect Cultural resources, flood plains or wetlands. Current inventory data indicates there are no threatened or endangered plant or animal species within the boundaries of this allotment. The proposal has been reviewed by an interdisciplinary team. The decision of the team is that implementation of this plan can be accomplished with no significant impact on the human environment as defined in FSM 1952.2. I have determined this to be an action of limited size and magnitude, and therefore it constitutes a Categorical Exclusion from the need to prepare a formal Environmental Assessment document. Sign-u- p Pee Age groups are Pee Wee 0-A group, 1 1 , B group Wee C group Trophies will be awarded for the first three places in the Pee Wee divisions with ribbons for 4th and 5th. Trophies will be given for the first two places in the A,B, and C groups with rosettes for 3rd and ribbons for 4th and 5th. All children riding in the Pee Wee groups will be given ribbons for participation. There will be a food booth available with lots of goodies. Everyone is invited to come out and participate and have a fun filled day. The club will also be participating in a DistrictFamily Outing on May 21 at Gunnison Reservoir. Everyone is invited to bring their Horses, Boats, or whatever and a lunch and join in the fun. That evening they are holding pot luck steak , fry with each club supplying differ- ent dishes.
