And Piute Reservoirs Now Warmer spring days and increasing water temperatures arc causing the large trout in Otter Creek and Piute reservoirs to begin their spawning runs according to Department of Wildlife Resources conservation officer Brent Christensen The big fish in both reservoirs arc drawn to gravel bars and the inlets and outlets in an attempt to spawn although the effort is for the most part unsuccessful "For trout to spawn successfully they must lay their eggs in cold dear streams not in fluctuating mossy reservoirs" he said Christensen said there is controversy about whether spawning fish arc eatable "These Fish have flabby bellies but the side and back meat is good" he said "Because of cool water temperatures these fish could be even better than fish caught and hauled around on a hot summer day" Christensen said the limit on both reservoirs is six fish and anglers must cat the six before they catch any more Huge State Wrestling Championships McCall Eyre Eyre Stars
