Show Convention Planned Bank of Ephraim President Dies Daughters of the Utah Pioneers from Sanpete County will hold their annual convention April 26. It will be in the northern part of the county at a place to be announced later. Utah needs documentary photographs. This, and subsequent contests, is designed to help document the Bicentennial years, 1974-198Capture the spirit and essence of these years for posterity by means of your cameras. Ephraim-Manti-Ster-li- combined PTA organization, Lynn Higbee, chairman, will present for all parents and teachers on Thursday, March 20 a very special annual Founders Day Program. Pleasant, Utah. Virgel Peter Jacobson was born in Fountain Green, Utah November 23, 1903 the son of Peter and Johanna Larsen Jacobson. He was educated in Fountain Green schools, graduated from Snow College at Ephraim, Utah and attended the University of Utah, Salt Lake City, and the University of Mexico in Mexico City. Mr. Jacobson was active in the livestock industry, being a member of the first advisory board of the Bureau of Land Management in Utah. He was a member of the Jericho Wool Growers Association and the Utah Wool Growers Association.
