Military Appreciation Night at WSU The base chapel is accepting bids for the following job: Chapel Facility Coordinator starting Tuesday, Sept. 4. The point of contact is Master Sgt. There will be a Top of Utah Military Affairs collaborative event with Weber State University Football Military Appreciation Night on Oct. 5, at 6 pm at Stewart Stadium in Ogden. Run the Classic, 10K, 5K, KidsK A run to benefit heart services at McKay-Dee Hospital, is planned at Layton Commons Park, on Sept. 8. Bonneville Vintage Grand Prix Sept. 1-2 Coming to Miller Motorsports Park will be two days of vintage motorcycle racing. Vintage and historic motorcycles from the 1930s through the 19805 will be featured on the 2.2-mile East Course. The event also includes two-man sidecar races. Admission is $10/day or $15/weekend for adults. Kids 12 and under are admitted free of charge. Military personnel are eligible for a 25 percent discount on tickets. For more information, visit www. Foursomes for Fisher House The second annual Foursomes for Fisher House golf tournament will be held Sept. 14 at the Stonebridge Golf Course in West Valley Utah. The 9 a.m. "shotgun start" will include a format of a four person scramble. Participation is limited to 50 teams. The fees are $316 per team/$79 per individual through early registration and will include green fees, cart, catered lunch and the opportunity for prizes.
