Show 12 HILLTOP TIMES Hill July 15, 2010 NEWS BRIEFS Water outage, road restriction July 21 -22 There will be a road restriction and water outage from July 21 to July 22, starting at 7 a.m. T" Avenue will have a partial road restriction, and hydrants 8-88 and 8-74 will be without water during this period. This project will provide water to the new Child Development Center. This will be in effect for approximately 24 hours. Vehicles will still be able to access and use "F" Avenue. One lane will be open at all times and will have a flag person at the approach from each end. The water outage will only affect the fire hydrants and no buildings will be affected. Grass Roots concert tickets options Due to a power failure which occurred just prior to the beginning of the Grass Roots concert at Layton's Ed Kennley Ampitheater, those who purchased tickets for the concert will be given the opportunity to trade their tickets for any concert for the remaining season at the Davis Arts Council Ticket Office. * The nonprofit Davis Arts Council is contractually obligated to pay the band, fees for instrument rentals and other obligations for the concert. For those interested in receiving a receipt for tax purposes in return for donating the cost of their tickets towards the costs, please visit the Davis Arts Council at 445 N. Wasatch Drive, Layton. Southgate Avenue to Boiling Avenue Efforts to freecycle office furniture at Hill In coordination with continued efforts to clean up and restore usable space it has been coordinated with the Defense Reutilization and Marketing Office to allow the turn-in of specific office furniture items WITHOUT the normal required paperwork. Please remember that it is imperative that no paperwork be left behind in desks, shelving and cabinets, when delivering them to DRMO. On July 22 DRMO will be accepting both serviceable and unserviceable cabinets and shelving. On Aug. 5, DRMO will be accepting both serviceable and unserviceable desks. Boiling Avenue to 'G' Avenue G' Avenue to Chenault Way Wardleigh Road Paving Project to begin The 75th Civil Engineer Squadron has a paving project on Wardleigh Road (Southgate Avenue to Chenault Way). The Phase 1 of this effort is scheduled Aug. 2 through Aug. 27. Starting approximately Aug. 2, Wardleigh Road (Southgate Avenue to Chenault) will be partially closed on the south side of road. The Phase 2 of this effort is scheduled Aug. 16 through Sept. 10. Starting approximately Aug. 16, Wardleigh Road (Southgate Avenue to Chenault Way) will be partially closed on the north side of road.
