Power outage to affect multiple sites Power will go out Oct. 16-18, beginning at 6 p.m., for approximately 54 hours, for work on a switch during construction of a new Aircraft Power Systems Repair Facility in Building 243. Firing Range off limits The base's Combat Arms firing range, Building 741, is off limits to all personnel unless on official business. Team Hill notes ICBM golden anniversary BY LEE ANNE HENSLEY Hilltop Times Staff H ill Air Force Base celebrated the 50th anniversary of America's first land-based nuclear-tipped intercontinental ballistic missile operations at a ceremony Oct. 1. We need to be operating on a continuous 12-month cycle of inspections to ensure 100 percent compliance in all areas. No-Notice Inspections are defined as 72 hours or less, Limited Notice Inspections are defined as 45 calendar days or less. Your SIP checklists are the key to success only if they are current. Ensure you are operating on a current checklist by reviewing and updating annually. Check with your local Inspector General repre-' sentative to verify that your SIP checklist is current or go to the link on the Hill Net Web page.
