Barbara Wood Civilian of the Quarter, Category I Gene Halsall Civilian of the Quarter, Category II Cynthia Richardson 309th Aircraft Maintenance Group receives AFA Citation of Honor The 309th Aircraft Maintenance Group has been selected to receive the Air Force Association's Citation of Honor. The annual award recognizes the most outstanding contribution by an individual or organization to the development of aerospace power for the betterment of mankind. The award recognizes 309th contributions to national defense, significantly exceeding standard performance. The award will be presented during the AFA National Convention Sept. 25 in Washington, D.C. The award covers the period from Jan. 1Dec. 31, 2005, and was based on a nomination package from the 309th AMXG. Among the items mentioned in the package was attaining the F-22 Raptor repair assignment by leading the partnering agreement with Lockheed Martin Aeronautics for modification, inspection and recoat workload. This placed the Ogden ALC on the fast track for future long-term F-22 Raptor workload to support our most advanced fighter. Other highlights are establishing historic Air Force Materiel Command performance records; continuing to deliver 100 percent of 492 A-lOs, C-130s, and F16s on time or early to the warfighter. a delivery streak that began in July 2004; and across-the-board financial improvements that generated $27 million in cost savings. Dr. Nassif has extensive and diverse cardiac training, including a cardiology residency at the National Heart Institute in Cairo and a cardiology fellowship at the Graduate Hospital of Philadelphia. She is also trained in echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and cardiac MRI/ CT angiography. A member of the American Medical Association and the American College of Physicians, Dr. Nassif has extensive research and presentation experience in her field and is certified in nuclear cardiology.
