Sgt Janice Freedle, Staff Sgt. Laurie Lykken, Airman 1st Class Gisselle Martinez, Vicki Frampton and Capt. Jennifer Cinq-Mars What they do: These "Hill Heroes" support the five OO-ALC Wings and the 388 FW for Command, Control, and Communication during contingency operations. They have been working together for the last 6 months to provide information management and administrative support to the Battle Staff. They converted the Battle Staff books of over 50 pages to an electronic publication, available to all Battle Staff representatives. They completely revamped the battle staff checklists and pre-positioned Battle Staff Directives, which were used during the Operation Readiness Inspection. Situation briefs held four times daily were flawless in execution. They truly wowed the AFMC and ACC Inspectors earning them Best Performer—Team status for the ORI. During the past months, they were the heartbeat of the Battle Staff providing 24/7 support during Phase I operations.
