All children from infancy through five years of age and their caregivers are invited to hear stories and participate in learning activities. Children are introduced to books, music, and art. You’re invited to come and explore the bridges and new section of the Ogden River Parkway. Festivities begin at 9:00 a.m., and will include music, refreshments, races, and prizes. Just after 9:00 a.m., you can participate in the Three Bridges Trail Excursion and walk, run, bike, or roller-blade the new section of the Parkway. The first 300 trail participants will get a free sameday pass to the Lorin Farr pool. June 5: First Annual Super Fund Banquet, Auction and Raffle hosted by the Ogden Valley Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF) to be held at Wolf Creek Resorts, Eden, Utah. Teams of 12 runners will compete in the 170-mile relay race beginning June 18 at Hardware Ranch near Logan and finish June 19 at the Town Lift in Park City, Utah. Team members will run three legs of the race varying from 3 to 6 miles each. The Wasatch Back Relay traverses the backside of the Wasatch Range. The race will traverse Avon Pass, then wind through Liberty, Eden, and Huntsville then cross over Trapper’s Loop. Each team has 12 people and 20 teams have already registered.
