Doxey DC, CSCS 876 12th Street, Ogden, UT 84404 (one block below Monroe) LIBERTY- David William Seeger, 61, passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2003. Bill was born April 6, 1942 to Paul and LaVonna (Lindsey) Seeger in Ogden, Utah. He graduated from Ogden High School in 1960. In 1962 he married Carol J. Durand. Together they had two children, a daughter, Jody and a son, Jimmy. Bill and Carol were divorced in 1974. Bill was a very creative builder. He and his brother Kent were the owners of Liberty Valley Log Company, and together they built many beautiful log homes. In the past, Bill was a snow skier and mountain biker. He loved being outdoors, and he once climbed the Grand Tetons. He also had a great appreciation for birds and animals. Bill loved his home in the mountainous setting of North Folk. His house was like stepping into an Eye Spy book. From a chair in his living room you could see an old Radio Flyer sleigh, a snake skin, a milk can, a model train, and many more artistically displayed items tucked around. He also had quite a collection of friends. Good friends. Loyal friends. They included his dear friend since childhood, Shane Lowenstein; his neighbors, Paul, Bob, Dr. Bill Brant, and Mark DeGroot; and many others who were so giving and accepting. He loved his sisterin-law Beverly Seeger, so much, for all she did. Bill is survived by those friends; his daughter Jody K. Seeger Coy and her husband John E. Coy; his son James David Seeger (Jimmy); a grandson, Alex J. Coy; a granddaughter, Amanda K. Coy; a brother, Tony Seeger; his step-mother Marjorie Seeger (Sissy); two step-sisters, Karen Edson and Frieda McGuire; two step-brothers, Kurt and Albert Becker; two nieces, Stacey and Jennifer Seeger; and his sister-inlaw Beverly Seeger. Those who knew Bill were amazed at his quick wit. He would make you laugh until you cried. But he had a very sensitive soul and a heart, which had been bruised and sometimes broken by the loss of those who preceded him in death. He loved them all and thought of them often, in some cases, every day: his mother, LaVonna; father, Paul; older brother Darryl; younger brother and business partner Kent; one niece, Kristen Seeger Munsen; and his sweetheart, Debra Dawn Fullmer (Debbie). Friends and family were invited to an open house held in his honor on November 18, at American Legion Post 129, Huntsville, Utah. The family is so thankful for the generosity of the people at American Legion Post 129. Arrangements by Aaron’s Mortuary & Crematory, Ogden.
