Her work has grown, and she now works in association with a glass blower to create uniquely patterned and designed pieces such as vases. Cathy Cartwright has shared her knowledge of glass through teaching. She has taught classes at St. Joseph Elementary School, the Eccles Community Art Center, and the University of Utah.
