All children from infancy through five years of age, and their caregivers, are invited to attend for stories and learning activities. Children are introduced to books, music and art and participate in learning activities. Every Monday: HORSE DRAWN SLEIGH RIDE AND DUTCH OVEN DINNER - Enjoy a beautiful ride on our bob sleigh that dates back to the 1800’s; then come into the warm and friendly atmosphere of the Red Rock Ranch Cafe and savor a delicious dinner served “cowboy style” (all ya can eat). Sit around our wood burning stove and swap tales with our cowboys! Priced when you make your reservation. Each ride may have a different meal, so there are different prices. Every 2nd Wednesday: The Liberty/Nordic Township Planning Commission meets at 5:00 p.m. at the Weber County Bldg. 2380 Washington Blvd., Ogden. Every 2nd Wednesday: Ogden Valley Translator/Recreation Special Service District meets at the Ogden Valley Library at 7:00 p.m. Wednesdays March 6 - April 10: A basic drawing workshop for adults (ages 12 and older) will be taught by local artist, Kay Affleck on Wednesdays, March 6 through April 10 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Eccles Community Art Center, 2580 Jefferson Avenue, Ogden. The first 100 kids who use the Self-Check at our library will receive FREE cotton candy. All libraries that have 100 customers use the Self-Check Out unit are eligible for a chance to win. April 16: Tuesday, 5:00 p.m. at the Weber County Commission Chambers, the Weber Township Planning Commission will take public comments regarding approval or denial of the Ogden Valley Pathways Master Plan. April 16: The Eccles Community Art Center, 2580 Jefferson, Avenue will offer a lecture from its free series Conversations in Art on Friday, April 16th beginning at 7:00 p.m. The lecturer this evening will be local teacher, Kathy Stobaugh with her presentation on the Life and Art of Georgia O’Keefe. This series is being funded by a grant provided by the Utah Humanities Council. The public is invited. For information: 801-392-6935. April 17: Outdoor Pet Show. Bring your pets—all sizes and all species—to the library courtyard for show and tell at 6:30 p.m. Prizes will be awarded to ALL entrants. Bring your horses, calves, lambs and llamas!
